Determining Patterns of Abuse
In keeping with our ongoing commitment for quality and the use of empirically validated assessments, Carolina Counseling and Therapeutic Solutions uses the latest screenings which have been shown to be both diagnostic and therapeutic in their administration. Because we understand that treatment can begin when a problem is discovered for the first time, our therapists are trained to use the client’s willingness to stop substance use and help to increase this willingness. Our staff is also able to administer a number of drug and alcohol screenings randomly during treatment to ensure that the reported abstinence is maintained. These screenings help both client and therapist to know when the treatment is effective and when an underlying problem may need to be addressed in therapy.
